HEPPACs community outreach consists of individual agency and collaborative efforts impacting specific communities such as Homeless, and People of Color and People Who Use\/Inject Drugs (PWUD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Events:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Syringe Service Programs, Health Fairs, Pop up Villages, Community Forums, Consortiums, local and state Summits or Conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobile Harm Reduction Services:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Occurs weekly on a consistent basis in non-clinical settings using a retrofitted RV with a room in the back to provide Harm Reduction based medical services.\u00a0 Our integrated service model moves throughout the city of Oakland and the county of Contra Costa to bring these Harm Reduction services to underserved communities with special emphasis on communities of color and PWIDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Task Forces<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our efforts have assisted in task forces to address issues that pose a threat to our participant\u2019s access to better health.\u00a0\u00a0 HEPPAC has created and is a part of task forces that address barriers to care, awareness of epidemics and other social justice determinants that impact people of color and those who have substance use issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can help us reach our goal for expanding services to help make a healthier community.\u00a0\u00a0 You can donate to HEPPAC online using our secured PayPal account or Cashier Check.\u00a0 We can provide your donation receipt upon request. Help us get to our goal of getting a third vehicle to expand our Harm Reduction services in Oakland and Contra Costa County.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
